UPPSC PCS Prelims: How is it different from UPSC Prelims in terms of difficulty?

I have been preparing for UPSC and now planning to appear for UPPSC PCS as well. Is UPPSC Prelims harder, easier, or similar in difficulty to UPSC? What additional topics should I focus on specifically for UPPSC that are not in UPSC syllabus?

UPPSC Prelims is slightly easier than UPSC on conceptual depth but heavier on factual and UP-specific GK. The CSAT is comparable. Add UP history, geography, economy and current state schemes on top of your UPSC base — that delta is what trips up UPSC aspirants who treat it casually.
