MPPSC State Service Exam: Complete overview of exam stages and timeline

I am new to MPPSC preparation and want to understand the complete exam cycle. How many stages are there? What is the typical timeline from notification to final result? Is there any difference between MPPSC State Service and Forest Service exams?

MPPSC State Service is three stages: Prelims (2 papers, Paper 2/CSAT qualifying), Mains (6 descriptive papers including Hindi), and Interview. Notification to final result typically spans 18-24 months. Forest Service shares Prelims but has a separate Mains and physical standards.
